How It Works
You will see a square coordinate (like e4 or a1). Quickly identify whether it is a light or dark square.
Light squares

Pro tip: Add the file letter position (a=1, b=2, etc.) and the rank number. If the sum is odd, the square is light. If the sum is even, the square is dark.
