Is Pro Lifetime really a one-time payment?
Yes. €39 once on the web, no subscription, no renewals, no recurring charges. Pro access stays active forever, including future Pro features.
What is included in the free tier?
Unlimited exercises on all seven levels (the hardest difficulties of some drills are Pro), 6 famous games, 3 endgame drills, unlimited games against AI at difficulties 1 to 5, all four blindfold board visibility modes, voice and text input, achievements, XP, and cross-device sync.
Can I get a refund on Pro Lifetime?
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on the Pro Lifetime purchase. If you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you lose this right once you start using Pro features, it no longer applies from that point (Terms, section 13). Email support@darksquares.net to check eligibility and request a refund.
What does Pro Lifetime unlock that the free tier does not?
The hardest difficulties of the drills, expert tactics, all 8 AI difficulty tiers (vs 5 free), the whole famous games library (vs 6 free), every endgame drill (vs 3 free), and any future Pro features.
Do you offer student or chess club discounts?
Yes, for verified chess clubs and educational institutions. Email support@darksquares.net with your club or institution details.
Is the mobile app free on iOS and Android?
Yes. The iOS and Android apps are free downloads with the same free tier. Pro Lifetime can be bought in the app, at the price the App Store or Google Play shows for your country, or on the web through Stripe checkout at €39. Buying on either side unlocks Pro everywhere.
What happens to my progress and data?
Your progress, XP, streaks and achievements are saved to your account on both plans and synced across your devices. Upgrading later keeps all of it, and you can delete your account and its data at any time from your account page.
Why is there a struck-through price?
€59 is the regular price of Pro Lifetime. €39 is its launch price, the amount charged at checkout today, with nothing to enter and no renewal afterwards.
